Cardinal Health, Pyxis Products, the market leader in healthcare drug & supply automation, is adding to staff and seeking an Application Specialist to join our Supply Products Implementation team. They will coordinate various Pyxis Supply System installations with emphasis on project management, troubleshooting, technical support and training.  Additionally,  the Application Specialist will be responsible for managing new and existing accounts, maintaining account summaries, and coordinating client resources. They will perform upgrades to existing Pyxis software and hardware systems, as well as ordering equipment and supplies, and completing weekly logs and expense reports.

 

**This position involves extensive customer interaction and service and regional overnight travel (varies by region).  This position will be located in L.A. or San Diego, still to be determined.**



BS/BA degree or 2+ years experience in a healthcare supply chain environment (surgical, pharmacy or materials management) with technical systems involvement or 3+ years with other computerized system applications preferred. Familiarity with current Supply Chain Management practices and supporting systems preferred.  Knowledge of nursing/surgical workflows and best practices required.  Training and teaching experience preferred and moderate technical skills. Demonstration of project management skills in a working environment; working knowledge of software/hardware applications and accessories. Strong interpersonal skills.
