Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
Join a collaborative team of users and IS staff to work on the implementation of the Anesthesia Information System as well as the support and expansion of the Enterprise Wide Scheduling System (EWSS). This includes Scheduling and PeriOp. Oversee, manage and support system implementations, ongoing maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, interfaces and integration with existing and new products.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare and/or Information Sciences or Information Services or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred. 4-5 years of hands-on client/server system implementations in a complex, multi-departmental environment. Knowledge of hospital organization, functions and procedures preferred. Experience in writing and developing specifications/proposal, project plans and test plans and interacting with vendor. Strong interface (HL7) and systems analysis, design, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Utilization of Windows, MS Office Suite including MS Project and PowerPoint, VISIO, Outlook. Must be able to travel to Madison, Wisconsin for training on the system (Epic). Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday and must be able to accept on-call rotation.
