Someone with that can define the hospital or clinic customer?s application and technical requirements, then communicate these requirements to the development group, and track the projects; someone with proven healthcare software business analyst experience and skills. These were competitive wins against major established HIS systems companies. Their HIS solution is ?OpenVistA? with added commercial modules. The bottom line here, is that this unique strategy has allowed them to deliver a comprehensive and cost effective HIS system. The results speak for themselves. 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY is to fully develop and utilize your healthcare Business Analytical skills, to communicate with client customers and define their detailed application and integration requirements. Then communicate these requirements to the Company?s development team (software engineering), and then track the projects through development and implementation insuring that the solutions meet the defined client requirements. This requires multi-tasking: working with project plans, the development group plus performance and risk management. If you are good, it?s a Healthcare Business Analyst?s dream.

 

THE GEOGRAPHY ? CANDIDATE HOME LOCATION:  Commutable daily to the HQ office in Orange County CA.

 

TRAVEL: 20% - 30% travel to customer sites in the US.

 

COMPENSATION: Very competitive including base, bonus and stock options.

 

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND/SKILLS:

REQUIRED
5+ years of supporting customer or internal hospital healthcare software implementations.
Software project documentation skills/experience (programming skills not required).
Demonstrated multitasking skills and working with minimum supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, detail oriented and professional.
High proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and project management software products.

 

PREFERED
Healthcare clinical experience.
Related education degrees.
Project management experience.
Competency with MS Office applications and MS Project scheduling.
