Allina Hospitals and Clinics currently has a full time opening for a Business Analyst Senior within their Enterprise Information Management department.  We are seeking an individual who can communicate clearly and effectively with both business and technical personnel in a collaborate environment.  This person's primary role will be participation in all phases of the system life cycle development, specifically in requirements gathering, data analysis, performing user acceptance testing, and managing small to medium sized projects.  In addition to project work the BA will manage some of the day-to-day operational support and customer issues/resolutions.


BA SENIOR :   7 + years of experience

Ability to Coordinate and conduct user group meetings
M-F Days (8am - 5pm) plus on-call

 

BA 2 :  3+ years of experience
M-F Days ( 8 am - 5 pm )


 

 

BA SENIOR and BA 2 Qualifications:

 

Required Skills:
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Customer service oriented
Ability to facilitate meetings
Leadership skills necessary
Detail oriented
Deadline driven
Proven ability to clearly articulate tasks, deliverables and meet scheduled deadlines.
Experience managing medium to large sized projects
Collection and documentation of user requirements
Ability to run classroom style user training classes

Desired Skills:
Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehouse experience a plus
Healthcare experience a plus
Familiar with System Life Cycle Development
Experience writing simple SQL statements
Ability to analyze large data sets for content, integrity, consistency, and validation of business rules
Experience managing projects with MS Project and/or similar project management software
Creation of user test plans
