CLINICAL CONSULTANT/EDUCATION SPECIALIST (BA, BS or AAS in Registered Nursing required!!)

Hill-Rom, an established leader in the marketing of medical equipment and services for the healthcare industry, is currently seeking qualified RNs for a CLINICAL CONSULTANT/EDUCATION SPECIALIST position available in the New York City area:

The responsibility of this position is to lead, manage, and coordinate Workflow Solution software configuration & training. Additionally, to perform the role as liaison between health-care technical and clinical teams to ensure accurate product design, configuration, and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Defines customer acceptance criteria for Go-Live.
-- Documents customer goals and expectations to specify end-user training requirements.
-- Conveys global and unit level configuration options and its applicability to workflow products.
-- Documents clinical workflow to assist in the determination of network infrastructure requirements.
-- Explains, demonstrates and trains customers on Workflow Solutions product functionality.
-- Prepares training materials.
-- Maintains training records and appropriate reports.
-- As needs demand, identify, coordinate, and train additional training resources that may include 3rd party contractors.
-- Provides clinical advice and input for development of new products.
-- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects within specified timelines.
-- Commands ownership for achieving timely, quality, agreed upon configuration results.
-- Develops effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
-- Uses logic and insight to solve difficult problems and create effective solutions.
-- Uncovers hidden problems; is excellent at analysis; looks beyond the obvious and seeks root cause of problems.
-- Influence technical and clinical teams to build support for decisions.
-- Develop new and unique ideas to solve problems or to create opportunities to increase efficiency; thinks outside of the box.
-- Create an environment for free flowing ideas and demonstrates innovative and unrestrained thinking.
-- Ability to identify customer needs and communicates information in a concise, timely and straightforward fashion; not afraid to communicate difficult messages.
-- Provides follow up to confirm that customers are using the product correctly and understand its functions.
-- Keeps up with the latest product innovations, and adapts training materials accordingly.
-- Maintains training skills and provides training in accordance with best training practices.
-- Creates and maintains exceptional customer relationships.
-- Responsible for creating and maintaining exceptional customer value, employee value, and shareholder value in an environment that is demanding and ever changing due to customer expectations and practices, and developments in technology.
-- The ability to travel 80% nationally is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-- Must have 3 ? 5 years of experience in training/educating clinical staff.
-- Experience configuring software clinical applications ? preferably workflow related.
-- Candidate must possess excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
-- Must be highly computer literate with Windows, MS Office and Internet Technology.
-- Proficiency in technical writing, workflow analysis, quality assurance, template design, systems validation, and metric development.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
-- BA, BS, or AAS in Registered Nursing with 5 ? 7 years of clinical experience.
