General Summary: Canopy? is the leading web-based care management solution that automates and streamlines the case, utilization and quality management processes within a hospital. The requirements analyst has the primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document and validate the client needs for enhancements and new features for the Canopy? product set. The requirements analyst is the principal conduit through which business needs flow from the customer community to the software development team.

 

Specific skill, experience or ability required: Strong web application graphical user interface design skills; experience developing HTML; excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional analytical skills; Three years experience in some role in the software product development life cycle; or 5 years experience as a requirements analyst.

 

Preferred skills: Experience in developing web applications using aspects of object oriented design methodology; knowledge of a variety of requirements engineering methods and techniques; experience developing use cases to document requirements; experience with meeting facilitation techniques; talent in organizing and presenting information; experience in developing information systems for the health care industry; experience with the following specific tools: DreamWeaver, MS Word, MS Outlook, Visio, StarTeam, Adobe Photo Shop or Illustrator.
