-JOB SUMMARY:
- Assumes responsibility of cardiology testing in the cardiovascular department.
- This includes, but is not limited to all non-invasive diagnostic cardiac/neuro/vascular tests (EKGs, Signal Averaging, Holter Monitors, Stress Tests, TCD's, EEG's, IPG's, PD's, TCO2, and Doppler with/without Treadmill).
- Also insures proper and economical use of equipment, supplies, and other clinical resources employed in the delivery of quality patient care and maintains appropriate records and files.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
High school diploma or equivalent GED; training in cardio/neuro/vascular testing is required
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification in cardio/neuro/vascular testing is preferred; CPR required, ACLS preferred
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Three to five years of experience in the cardio/neuro/vascular testing is necessary
