Clinical Informatics - Scheduling Analyst

Job title:  Clinical Informatics Implementation Analyst ? Scheduling (Cerner ESM)

 

Type:  Full time ? Exempt

 

Travel:  4 days per week

 

Relocation: Must live in the Orlando area or be willing to relocate (relocation paid)

 

Reports to: Scheduling Project Manager

 

Responsibilities

Assists in the planning and coordination of assigned clinical informatics projects. Actively participates in the design, build, implementation, training, evaluation, testing and maintenance of Hospital Information System. Coordinates and facilitates communications within areas that interface with the Clinical Informatics Services in relation to the implementation of clinical information systems. Provides broad solution functionality and implementation expertise. Consults in design, build and trouble-shooting within the appropriate tools used by project team/solution. Establishes and maintains relationships at the appropriate level between AHS IS and Client facilities in order to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution benefits, etc. Effectively communicates status updates of tasks and projects plans to appropriate Client and AHS IS project team members. Act as primary facilitator of client events (staff on-site kick-off meeting, integration testing rounds, etc.). Build solution databases for client engagement. Responsible for troubleshooting and issue resolution for assigned client. Proactively drives knowledge sharing throughout the team (learning and teaching).

 

Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement): 

Must have a thorough knowledge of clinical practices and principles. Patient Scheduling, clinical informatics and Cerner (Enterprise Scheduling Management) experience highly desired. Graduated from an accredited school or college.
