Managing project timelines and meeting publication deadlines
Conducting ongoing research to stay abreast of issues and changes related to coding and regulations
Participating in meetings with the Sr. Director of Technical Editors and the Product Manager to collaborate on how to grow product lines to meet customer needs and determine how to release products in a timely fashion ahead of the competition
Working with the editorial staff to answer questions on content and ensure copy editing meets standards while textual meaning is accurate
Candidates must be experienced in both inpatient and outpatient coding and must also be certified in coding systems through AHIMA or AAPC.
