DATA ANALYST WITH M2 TRICARE EXPERIENCE

Summary: As a Data Analyst IV; will provide data analysis utilizing M2- the Military Health Service Management Analysis reporting tool.

Duties:
Design, plan, and conduct complicated analysis/evaluations of MHS databases to develop fact-based statistical and narrative assessments for executive management decisions. Coach and train other M2 analysis. Review team products to ensure quality. Maintain contact with clients to determine additional needs and satisfaction with services. Conduct formal requirements analysis and prepare requirements documents according to required standards. Ensure timely completion of assigned project tasks. Work with the team to identify client data needs, analyze and recommend appropriate solutions. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a query database for use by colleagues and clients.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a related field or Masters degree and 2 years experience or 10 years experience may be substitute for degree. Requires experience with M2 preferably with access level IV or higher.
Experience in Data Mining and analysis, metrics development and application, technology & risk assessments and knowledge management support.
Experience supervising or training experience preferred. Must have excellent English language skills, and be able to work with clients to define information needs that can be satisfied utilizing available data. Must be able to work independently and to interact well as a member of a team. Should have applicable experience in healthcare, research and development. Preferred prior Air Force Headquarters level experience or experience with Tri-Services (TRICARE) Healthcare projects.
