Position Purpose

The Data Analyst will fulfill requests for information and perform data analysis for internal and external recipients as well as manage information exchange between Provider Services and other groups (both internal and external). The Data Analyst may also manage the data analysis and exchange portion of projects. The Data Analyst?s work will support the business decisions for all aspects of the Provider Services department including deployment, utilization management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

?  Produce scheduled (daily, weekly, and monthly) reporting.

?  Query, extract, and present data from a variety of data sources based on data requests.

?  Ensure quality and accuracy for all data analyses and reports.

?  Manage exchange of data and analysis requests between Provider Services and other internal and external groups.

?  Manage the data analysis and data exchange portion of projects across internal and external groups.

?  Develop and present report results to NaviMedix staff.

?  Performs other duties as assigned.

Competencies

?  Knowledge of healthcare industry a plus.

?  Experience working in a rapid-paced work environment.

?  Strong analytical and organizational skills.

?  Project Management experience preferred.

?  Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.Requirements

?  Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of demonstrated experience performing data analysis.

?  3 - 5 years of directly related healthcare industry experience preferred.

?  Advanced knowledge of SQL, SQL Server and/or other RDBMSs; Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access; Experience with other MS Office applications.

?  Strong analytical skills required.

?  Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.

?  Willingness to work as part of a team.
