Position Purpose:

 

To accurately enter data from incoming medical forms into assigned software packages. Responsible for maintaing department database to include data entry, auditing function and backup. Maintain and update all provider directories information and coordination of distribution with vendors. Responsible for producing and submition of state deliverables on a monthly basis.

 

Position Qualification Requirements:

 

Knowledge/Experience: Highschool education or equivalent, 1 to 2 years experience with database management .

 

Skills/ Competencies: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations. Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level, demonstrating good oral and written communication skills. Ability to type 50-60 wpm.
