EMR Implementation Specialist - Staff (Nationwide)

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible meeting client implementation & training schedules for our Electronic Medical Records system into 4+  Provider Group Practices. Also responsible for performing detailed product training sessions and go-live support on location. Must be a self-motivated, well organized, with excellent written and oral presentation skills.  Medical terminology, a medical records background, clinical work-flow, clinical information systems or practice management experience a plus. College degree required.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PC skills, networks, interfaces, and operating systems required.

 

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

?  Responsible for commanding a strong knowledge of the EMR application feature/functionality and it's interaction with ancillary systems.

?  Review the FastTrack project documentation provided by Project Manager and Clinical Trainer in preparation for your arrival for staff training.

?  Responsible for providing on-site staff training ( ST ) sessions to all client staff who will be end users of the EMR system.

?  Responsible for removing the fear and anxiety from those client/students who may be intimidated or reluctant about their ability to master the system.

?  Responsible for demonstrating the value and power the EMR system will provide them in their jobs and make it a positive experience for them.

?  Escalate to the appropriate EMR Project Manager any problem or issues that require their involvement or that they should be made aware of.

?  Reporting and documenting ( ST ) results to EMR Project Manager.

?  Responsible for providing on-site go-live support ( GL ) to end-users, helping insure they are operating the EMR and accomplishing their job functions successfully.

?  Assist in other areas of need as requested including monitoring of (9IE) when available to do so.

?  Being a professional and positive team player and doing whatever it takes to win the game for A4 and our clients.

?  Can be located anywhere in the country; Must be open to significant travel.

 

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

? Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of MS Server 2000 and 2003, Terminal Services Remote Desktop Connections, PCAnywhere, Veritas Backup, Castelle Faxpress

? Has a working knowledge of the Ntierprise PM application software and the interface link

? Ability to negotiate, coordinate, and execute project plans in the implementation of A4?s EMR systems

? Proficient in the clinical work-flow of medical practices

? Ability to prioritize and manage people and projects

? Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate through the use of verbal and written skills to management, clients and peers.
