Electronic Heath Record Applications Analyst

Full-time Days, Monday - Friday

 

Job Description: The Applications Analyst is responsible for providing proficient, professional, and skilled support for Emerson Health Systems? GE Centricity environment and other state of the art clinical, financial, and administrative applications for physicians. Emerson Hospital and its Physician Hospital Organization has a progressive Information Systems department that is progressing toward the goal of a totally integrated electronic medical record that connects the inpatient and ambulatory settings.

 

The Application Analyst will work in a team environment to implement and support current and new applications and upgrades. The Analyst may also provide training to other employees on the various applications and will frequently collaborate with various physician offices and Emerson Hospital departments to maximize the efficiency and use of electronic information systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Health Care, Nursing, Information Systems or related specialty, and/or equivalent experience/training.

Knowledge of project management, analysis skills, computer systems testing and training. Knowledge of MEDITECH or other health care application software in a health care setting is preferred. Experience with GE Centricity a plus!
