Enterprise Clinical Project Manager, Horizon Clinicals

Job Description
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Coordinate all aspects (customer and internal) for Clinical Information Systems and McKesson Provider Technologies. The position requires frequent interaction with the Providence customer at the executive levels, with execution team members, with multiple McKesson teams, outside vendors and suppliers, and multiple cross-functional Services teams. Senior project management, multi-tasking and executive relationship management skills are required. Primary responsibilities and requirements are listed below.
? Complete ownership and management of all aspects of the implementation process and ownership of the customer relationship.
o Participate in reviews with customer and sales team
o Single point of escalation for Providence within the McKesson team
o Overall project reviews / coordinating with specific project teams
o Overall/Cross functional project planning and overall financial forecasting
o Coordinate team members for site-specific & regional system configuration design
o Schedule execution and management
o Cross Product Management of system implementation and integration activities
o Manage all internal and external project interfaces across teams and organizational levels, including McKesson and client executive levels.
? Manage multi-facility, multi-product implementations across multiple concurrent client engagements including leading and coordinating separate project teams and other project managers that may be assigned
? Manage the client-side executive relationship/sponsor, including management of scope, expectations, status and issues follow-up.
? Actively manage customer satisfaction and customer quality requirements and issues.
? Assure compliance and adherence to McKesson processes and project methodologies
? Accurate and timely revenue and resource forecasting across all projects consistent with McKesson ?percentage of completion? policies and procedures
? Adeptly identify, prioritize, communicate and drive resolution of critical issues and risks to mitigate negative impact to customer satisfaction, schedule or revenue forecasts.
? Effectively manage through difficult situations with clear timely decision making and incisive and creative problem solving.


Qualifications/Requirements:
? B.S. in Technical or Clinical discipline or equivalent business experience in a related field
? Minimum 5 to 10 years of IT project management experience in healthcare working with external customers; Project Management Professional Certification strongly desired
? Broad understanding of clinical workflow, ideally across departments and systems
? Experience with Clinical Software
? Proven leadership ability across all levels of an organization, including executive level
? Excellent communication skills
? Executive leadership presence and interaction skills
? Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
? Strong process orientation, problem solving & troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality
? Proven track record of results within McKesson
? Proven ability to successfully manage within a highly complex situations with limited direction
? Located in Louisville Colorado (McKesson headquarters) or in the customer local areas of Washington or Oregon.

Desired:
? Prior experience with Computerize Physician Order Entry, Medication management and Point-of-Care patient monitoring and administration systems and other related Clinical Information Systems
? Experience with and/or knowledge of McKesson Horizon Clinicals product lines
? Green/Black Belt Certification or familiarity w/Six Sigma quality principles
? MS or MBA and PMP certificationMinimum Requirements

8+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions which may include using information technology. Significant experience in project management, requirements definition and/ or deployment of business requirements to information systems.Education
