Epic HIM Implementation Support Consultant

As ACS Healthcare Solutions is experiencing tremendous growth in our National Epic Practice, we are seeking EPIC experienced and/or certified resources for Implementation support, Analyst, & Project Manager-level positions to join our team of professionals. We are an EPIC Certified Consulting Partner and currently have over 200 consultants in our National Epic Practice.

HIM or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Professionals



Qualifications:

 

Experience in HIM Healthcare medical records; and project management

Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.

Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Experience supporting HIM software implementations and full knowledge of HIM department functions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Management and or experience in HIM operations; EMR systems implementation; Scanning; ROI, RHIA, Medical Records professionals with experience in the implementation of electronic medical records.  Epic experience preffered but is not a requirement. 



 

Abstracting

 

Two years minimum of healthcare experience

Experience in preparing work flow and gap analysis

Previous experience with working on a team

Available to travel in the southern California area

Two or more years experience in one or more of the following areas

Inpatient Coding

Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle

Knowledge of billing and compliance regulations

 

ROI (Release of Information)

 

Two years minimum of healthcare experience

Two or more years of experience in an inpatient setting

One year minimum hospital software implementation experience

Experience in preparing work flow and gap analysis

Strong project management skills

Strong Ability to understand interfaces and data conversions

Previous experience with working on a team

Available to travel in the southern California area

Available to travel to Wisconsin to attend training, if not previously certified

Two or more years experience in one or more of the following areas

Knowledge of release of information requirements and processes

Working knowledge of HIPAA disclosure accounting requirements

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION.?..

Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience,. RHIA preferred

 

Possible extensive travel, but NO RELOCATION required. You fly out of your local airport and work onsite.
