Health Information Management Clinical Data Quality Administrator positions at Virtua Health in southern New Jersey

Our Medical Records/Health Information Management department located at our Mount Holly campus currently has two full-time Clinical Data Quality Administrator opportunities for individuals who will be responsible for coding quality, education and training, HIM standards development, Case Mix Index (CMI), Ambulatory Patient Classifications (APCs) and Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) for Virtua Health Information Management. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a data management compliance plan for coding and reimbursement, health records and documentation and data quality for all HIM Departments. Performs system administration duties for coding and abstracting software as well the State reporting software (DDCS). Serves as back up for HIM System Administrator for optical imaging system.
Qualifications include: certification as RHIT or RHIA and CCS by AHIMA. Knowledge of PC database applications, spreadsheet design; knowledge of report-writing software. Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4, DRGs, APCs and CMI.
