Harris County Hospital District is one of the largest hospital systems in the country, providing comprehensive medical services to the Houston metropolitan area. The District consists of three state-of-the-art acute care hospitals, eleven health centers, public school-based clinics, and a freestanding HIV/AIDS clinic. The impact you?ll have on community health in the nation?s fourth largest city is immeasurable.

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) REQUIRED. Five (5) years management experience in Health Information, prefer acute teaching facility. Recruitment Bonus provided. Acute Care coding required.

Position requires: lifting, carrying up to 60 lbs., pushing, pulling up to 61 or more lbs., bending, stooping, reading above shoulder level, driving automatic equipment, climbing, walking, standing, sitting, working in extreme temperatures and exposure to toxic/hazardous conditions.
