Healthcare IS Support Specialist : provides overall IDX support to a high volume, busy billing center in managing IDX related issues. This includes IDX dictionary modifications; AES modifications; fee schedule and allowables maintenance; requesting and monitoring month-end close; identifying, reporting and testing claim and application modifications; and reviewing EMC payer rejection reports. Position reports to center VP and works closely with all internal departments, particularly Accounts Receivable, Denials & Appeals and Registration. Position serves as primary Billing Center liaison to corporate IDX Support Center on the East Coast. Requires a good working knowledge of IDX systems, healthcare billing and healthcare payors. Ideal candidate is motivated, detail-orientated and works well with little supervision. Position is a great career opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys learning and interacting with many different aspects of the billing process.
