Healthcare Information Systems Analyst - Database Administrator

Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Full time Information Systems Analyst/DBA who can work independently or as part of a team.  The successful candidate will possess superior troubleshooting, problem resolution and interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication proficiency.  The candidate will become part of a dynamic and well adjusted team that supports client departments in the use of automated systems.  Support will be focused in financial arena, so it is imperative that business aptitude be well developed.

 

The candidate in this position will work with users to identify data and automation requirements related to business needs.  They will participate in database design and maintenance, monitor and support data transformation and develop and impose standards for system architecture.  A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience is required, as well as 2-3 years of experience in SQL Server database administration and reports.  Technical requirements include experience with SQL Server 2000, Crystal Reports, relational database concepts, Microsoft products, and Business Intelligence tools.  Experience in a healthcare setting or Meditech systems environment is highly desirable.
