Healthcare software regional sales manager
MNI is initiating its activity in the United States with clinical software that is experiencing exponential growth in Europe ? ALERT?.
In the U.S., MNI will:seek distributors of ALERT? (www.alert-online.com); co-development projects with companies that own know-how that can complement the ALERT? family of products, and; implement ALERT? directly in hospitals and outpatient clinics.
MNI will eventually appoint a National Sales Manager. However, the approach for that will be to designate initially 4-6 Regional Sales Managers. Each of these Regional Sales Managers will report directly to MNI?s founder and C.E.O, M. Jorge Guimaraes, M.D., Ph.D.
The Regional Sales Manager is expected to be involved in all commercial aspects of the company?s U.S. implementation project, managing and developing sales in a number of designated states in the U.S.
MNI is opening offices in the U.S.. The first office site is likely to be Philadelphia. However, other offices are likely to follow. Namely, in California.
Profile of the candidate:
5+ years Manager level in commercial areas, desirably within the healthcare IT industry; Experience in hardware/software/application solutions, from either application, buying or sales point of view; Negotiation skills; Good contract drafting skills; General awareness of IT market and technologies; Financial assessment and understanding skills; Willingness to face new challenges; Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; English fluency is required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus;Willingness to travel 80-90%; Proven track record in developing new accounts achieving measurable company sales goals; Ability to bring existing customer base/customers to the organization is desirable.
