o Length of time to be determined after analysis performed

 

? Must know in-depth:

o McKesson Horizon Clinical Lab (9.0 or Later, preferably 10.0)

o Laboratory clinical process best practices

o Interface between Horizon Order Management & Horizon Clinical Lab

o Interface between Horizon Blood Bank & Horizon Clinical Lab

o Working knowledge of Crystal Reports

o Horizon Blood Bank ? preferable

o Crystal Reports ? preferable

 

? Duties:

o In conjunction with the full-time information services staff, analyze laboratory system build and create remediation strategy to include:

? A Review of the build between Horizon Order Management and Horizon Clinical Lab and resolution of all associated go-live issues

? An analysis of the lab system build itself and recommendations about improvements or changes to the system

? An analysis of the issues between Horizon Blood Bank and Horizon Clinical Lab and a strategy to resolve associated go-live issues.

o Work closely with McKesson to track and ensure completion of issues assigned to them

o Mentor Application Analysts and Laboratory Departmental Staff on supporting the system to transfer knowledge.
