Hospital Chief Technology Officer
Our client currently has an opening for a Chief Technology Officer/Client Executive to be located onsite at a large New York City hospital for a four year project. Qualified candidates will be responsible for overall performance of outsourced resources. The Client Executive has profit and loss responsibilities for the contract, and is responsible for meeting all responsibilities under that contract. This onsite representative will provide leadership and vision to this Outsourcing Client for its information systems and overall management of this department.
Primary Job Functions:
* Responsible for the client relationships, day-to-day management and overall profitability of an IT outsourcing client.
* Plan, organize, and direct the activities of a hospital's information systems department and/or other services as provided by the Outsourcing contract.
* Client relationship management - connect with senior leaders on a peer-to-peer level. Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization, especially as part of a senior management team, with the Board of Directors, and medical staff.
* Allocate company resources to achieve account specific performance objectives in accordance with budgeted gross margin parameters.
* Ensure that accurate and meaningful data collection and reporting is occurring at their account site.
* Subcontractor relationship management
* Communications - communicate plans and strategies to the group
* Staffing - Assist in the placement of Information Technology professionals for permanent/contract positions.
* Planning - develop analytical business strategies for business plans
Skills Profile:
* Prior experience as a Hospital CIO/CTO is preferred.
* Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in Business/Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
* 8+ years of information technology and healthcare experience along with senior leadership-level experience.
* Strategic-level IT management/ operational accountability for large-scale setting.
* Strong executive presence and relationship management skills.
* Demonstrate established ?C? level customer relationships
* Thorough knowledge of information systems and technologies in the healthcare environment.
* Strong management skills including performance appraisals, hiring, termination and career counseling of personnel.
* Able to manage large scale profit/loss statements.
* Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
