IME Scheduler

GENEX, a premier managed care company is currently seeking an IME Scheduler for one of its branch offices located in Winter Park, FL.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates customer requests for IME (independent medical exam) and Peer Review services by working as an intermediary between the injured/ill claimant, carriers, attorneys, and physicians, to ensure a timely, accurate, quality, and completed independent medical review report.  Individuals in this position will schedule, input data into the computer system, assign new cases to medical professionals and generate correspondence necessary to ensure claimant attendance at the appointments.

 

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalency required.  Business or office technical courses preferred.  2+ years IME processing experience, medical assistant or insurance claims experience required.  Working knowledge of MS Office programs and data entry stills is required. Knowledge of medical and insurance claims terminology is essential. Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy are a must.  Excellent customer service, verbal and communication skills are essential.
