Implementation Associate - Health Management Software Products and Services

Overview
As an Implementations Specialist you will assume a lead role in the implementation process of our Medical Management Software products. You will work closely with clients as you provide consultation and project coordination for client software implementations. You will provide analysis of consultant findings, provide product training as well as be responsible for the coordination of a client's training plan. You will provide client support as well as product testing as well as provide recommendations to our clients for product use.



Relocation is not required for this position. Our implementation associates work out of their homes when not traveling. Regular often weekly overnight travel is required.


Job Skills/Requirements

 Maintains detailed understanding of the product technically and functionally. Recommends and reviews changes to the product training manuals. Builds customized product presentations and provides client product demonstrations during the sales cycle. Provides the client with formal classroom application and configuration training. Identifies and analyzes current client business processes. Provides detailed documentation concerning the use of the product to meet the clients business needs. Engages in advance preparation, with the client, to assess system usage needs through written and verbal consultation; determines the interaction between various departments and the ability of the system to function as envisioned by the client. Guides the client in work flow modification. Thoroughly documents product and process inconsistencies/ issues/ software concerns for follow-up and/or resolution by programming staff. Coordinates data analysis needs for implementation and report specifications and recommend appropriate system configuration. Creates Visio work flow diagrams, Use Cases and/ or Swim lane analysis. Redesigns business processes and identifies business rules; documents business rules using Visio diagrams. Assists with interface development requirements. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within prescribed budget. Provides updates to the project plan/ provides updates to the client on a weekly basis (assessment phase, table analysis and configuration, training, reports, letters and rules.) Confers with the customer project personnel to provide technical advice to resolve problems. Supports the client in the development of their end-user training curriculum. Provides software support to the client for thirty days post go live. Assists in testing company developed software, as updates/revisions are available. Reviews all proposed software application designs. Assists the Design department with client specific software application design requirements after meeting with sites and assessing needs. Leads the on-going Quality Improvement efforts such as revision of the implementation tools and processes. Proposes changes to and maintains in-house data base configuration. Organizes and maintain a weekly schedule of assigned tasks and reports the status of assigned client tasks to the Project Manager and Manager, Implementation Managed Care or Hospital/ IDN. Conducts necessary healthcare research and disseminates findings to the appropriate parties. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable accreditation standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required, Masters preferred 4 years implementation experience with a software vendor. For Managed Care Group: Medical management experience and/or managed care Case Management business operation experience certification preferred. For Hospital IDN Group: health care experience in Case Management, Quality management, Infection Control, Credentialing, or Risk Management; certification preferred.
