IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION


The Implementation Specialist is the primary technical liaison to all new clients, responsible for analyzing client needs and applying Atlas software products to meet those needs.  Implementation Specialists must accurately communicate the software's functionality to clients, as well as technical specifications of client needs to the internal development organization.  Primary tasks include creative problem solving, data manipulation, interface analysis, product setup and configuration.


 

QUALIFICATIONSAbility to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information Able to manage and coordinate multiple, complex technical issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire and ability to work with, manage, and satisfy clients Highly motivated and flexible Excellent time management and organizational skills Must be hands-on person who is proactive in seeking and applying technical knowledge Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines Willing to travel occasionally

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required:BS in Computer Science or equivalent 2 + years applicable work experience (software development, information systems integration, information technology, technical support, application support, systems analyst)

Desired:Recent use of applicable software technologies
(databases, VPN, FTP, Javascript, HTML, HL7, networking, Microsoft Excel) Experience in related job areas (system analyst, business analyst, information technology, medical informatics, laboratory information systems, electronic medical records, practice management systems)
