Interface Analyst II - Decision Support

Northside Hospital has the following opportunity available:

 

Interface Analyst II ? Decision Support

 

Assists hospital management, Decision Support, Accounting, Payroll and Managed Care staff in the development and maintenance of various reporting information systems at all three Northside Hospital facilities. Coordinates the development of policies and procedures related to system maintenance, data sources, interface schedules, information reporting, data retention and overall system operations; creates and provides updated documentation of this information to system users as necessary. Works on issues related to systems including, but not limited to, STAR General Ledger, ESI, MIDAS and PFM / PMM. Interfaces include both internal and external databases. Performs database updates and maintenance, audits all internal database interfaces and determines data accuracy and integrity; works with hospital management to resolve any specific data issues. Serves as system manager for the Trendstar Decision Support system and all relevant hardware, as well as numerous other hardware servers and software applications. Coordinates the implementation of all hardware and software modules related to the decision support system and ad hoc programs, including, but not limited to, HBI, ENUFF and Cactus.

 

Must have a B.S. degree in Business or Health Administration or Computer Science, along with two (2) years of decision support system experience, demonstrated knowledge of computers and micro computer applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) and good analytical and communication skills. One (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment and/or two (2) years of financial experience are preferred.
