Job Description:
Take your experience to the next level-a career with SCC in Healthcare Information Systems, supporting our proprietary software! You will receive and be responsible for documenting and troubleshooting software. Additionally you will review assigned workload to assesses potential delays in the delivery of solutions, provide meaningful recommendations for improving team productivity and the overall effectiveness of the support effort, participate in corporate client service and technical training programs, and comply with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines. Other duties include: receiving, logging and properly documenting new tasks into TMS, performing simple troubleshooting of system problems using provided tools, alerting the appropriate SCC staff of client system critical condition, and identifying commonly reoccurring problems relating to hardware and software and reporting these to the Team Lead.

Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in a Hospital involved with specimen processing, phlebotomy or as Medical or Lab assistant. AA Degree in Healthcare related field or Technical Degree is highly desired. Previous experience in a service related field, clinical laboratory, or related computer position desired. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are necessary. Must be able to follow instructions, make decisions as needed to effectively process client issues, handle change and work effectively under stress. Good keyboard/typing abilities along with a strong attention to detail and quick response time are required. Administrative Assistants with experience in hospital laboratory environment such as microbiology, radiology, etc. are encouraged to apply.
