Service-oriented individual licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Maryland.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred but not required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Current Maryland License to practice Physical Therapy
CPR certification, course C
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated ability to teach peer/students and to manage patient scheduling. Requires ability to initiate professional dialogue with co-workers, hospital staff and patients.
Requires math, reading, adaptability, logic, technical and typing/word-processing skills.
Requires knowledge or specialized equipment: lifts, PT equipment and office/computer equipment.
Knowledge of vital signs, telemetry and cardiac drugs.
