This position will support McKesson Horizon Emergency Care (HEC) Product. HEC supports the Emergency Department by enhancing patient care, patient care management, and financial performance in the emergency department.

The HEC Physician Analyst position will be responsible for generating Requirements, Functional Designs, and Behavior Interaction Diagrams (Screen Designs) for a state of the art Emergency Department application. The Physician Analyst will work closely with Product Management and Development to generate designs and requirements for new functionality and drive the product to a best-in-class solution.

REQUIREMENTS
1. 5+ Years experience as an MD in a Clinical Care setting, either inpatient or outpatient. Emergency care experience is preferred.
2. Thorough knowledge of healthcare/ clinical content and/ or technical information on specific software applications or solutions.
3. Strong writing, negotiation and presentation skills.
4. Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.
5. IT Implementation, Support or Development experience, in either Hospital or Software Development or recent Software IT education
6. Demonstrates competency in the use of office software (Word, Power Point, Front Page, Visio)
7. Demonstrates the ability to write effectively
8. GUI Design skills a plus
9. Use Case writing a plus
10. RUP, CMM, CMMi, FDA, JCHAO, HIPAA experience a plus
