Portal Application Analyst

First Consulting Group, in partnership with University Hospitals Health Systems, currently has an opening for a Portal Application Analyst.

We are currently seeking a Physician Portal Analyst having strong experience with support, training and implementation of IT applications. You will be responsible for supporting and training multiple levels of users (i.e. physician, nursing, practice management staff, etc)

 

Position requirements and responsibilities: Support and train physicians, nurses and office staff at different UHHS facilities, in the optimal use of the physician portal, focusing on access and navigation Participate in project teams associated with the design, development, implementation, and modification of the physician portal application. Experience with supporting Physician Portal and ePrescription application is preferred. Ability to interact with all levels of internal customers to include: Physicians, Nurses, Information Services staff, practice management, etc. Responsible for defining, coding, building and formatting reports using multiple tools and/or application software packages This position requires excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and coordination skills, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to clients and ability to work with a positive work attitude

 

Skills, Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree, concentration in computer science, management information systems preferred. Minimum 2 years applications experience in either an application support or implementation role Minimum 2 years of working experience with SQL Server Database, Transact-SQL, VB Script, MS Access, and Crystal Reports. Minimum one year training experience required. Clinical applications training experience preferred. Healthcare experience and knowledge of interface messaging standards such as HL7 desired.
