Position Overview:

Plans, directs and coordinates tactical/strategic application development activities of an organization. Has overall organizational responsibility for people, customer and organizational project management activities. Responsible for large, complex, globally-based employees, locations and customer industry segments. Coaches and counsels team managers on business, organizational and technology strategies. Participates in setting direction and policies related to application development methodologies. Establishes strategies to achieve business goals and objectives of the client . Reviews new business opportunities, proposals and marketing presentations to ensure they meet the customer's and EDS' business objectives. Identifies opportunities to leverage EDS expertise to new markets.

 

Position prerequisites:

? Experience managing a large health care application system implementation - preferably Medicaid.

? Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large projects with multiple teams

? Demonstrated ability to direct the work efforts of a technical staff and other technical leaders.

? Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a geographically dispersed team.

? Demonstrated ability to successfully build and manage a client relationship.

? Knowledge of and experience with scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communication, risk, procurement, and integration management.

? Ability to spend a significant amount of time in the Hartford, CT area.
