SENIOR HEALTHCARE DATA ANALYST

Summary: The senior healthcare data analyst supports the organization with analytical and healthcare data systems expertise by providing consulting and oversight of data handling functions to meet the needs of clients; analyzes external and internally collected data, developing key value proposition formulae and presenting the results to internal and external audiences; provides oversight of data loading, data load and format consultation. 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other work-related duties may be assigned.

 Consults internally and externally regarding the exchange of healthcare information, data formats, data systems, etc.Consults internally and assists business management by developing reports ? ad hoc  or otherwise ? as neededProvides performance oversight of data loads and extractsDevelops appropriate statistical, forecasting and utilization models to support business objectives.Designs, tests, and builds data load and extract softwareManages data load work to ensure timely client support. Synthesizes findings for internal and external communication of program outcomes.Communicates program outcomes to health plan executives.Publishes program outcomes in suitable peer reviewed journals and industry publications.Responds to special information requests from clients or prospective clients.
