Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY
To prospect, demonstrate, propose and close new software sales business.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Prospect and document activities in ACT.
*Follow up on leads provided by the company.
*Mine for new leads in their respective sales territory.
*Know the product lines the RSM sells.
*Demonstrate the products to qualified prospects.
*Manage sales to expense ratios.
*Propose the appropriate solutions and equipment to the prospect, if the prospect is qualified.
*Know the competition.
*Read deals and strategize with their direct report manager on winning the deal.
*Independently manage discounts.
*Get manager approval on any discounts over 10%.
*Close a minimum $1.1M in new business and sell a minimum of 9 new business units per year.
*Work with the inside sales person (assigned) on getting add on quotes to existing clients.
*Manage client relationships and use the company resources wisely.
*Update client satisfaction data in ACT.
*Provide manager with monthly pipeline reports, thoughtfully completed by the first day of each new month.
*Build a wide and deep pipeline of potential business.
*Fill out expense reports at least bi-monthly.
*Complete time-cards on a monthly basis by the 25th of each month.
*Work as a team member with other sales people towards company sales.
*Work independently and use their manager?s time wisely.
*Build relationships with clients and consultants that propagate new business for the company.
*Be loyal to the organization and maintain confidentiality about company affairs
- This is a home based position that can be based anywhere in California.
