Sales and Marketing Support Representative

MEDITECH is looking for experienced professionals with excellent communication skills to support our Sales Representatives. Established presentation skills are a plus, as is the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Candidates must be able to self-manage within a fast paced team environment. Qualified candidates may be required to conduct a fifteen minute presentation to the hiring management team. This travel position includes, among other benefits, a standard cell phone and travel stipend.




Responsibilities:

* Providing dynamic presentations and demonstrations utilizing MEDITECH's administrative, clinical or financial software to prospective and existing customers

* Functioning as an integral member of a team supporting the sales representatives as a technical resource

* Communicating effectively with hospital department heads and upper-level management

* Representing MEDITECH at industry trade shows

* Reviewing and responding to proposal requests

* Participating in development meetings

* Traveling 50-60%



Qualifications:

* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

* Strong presentation skills



Education & Experience:

Associates or Bachelors Degree strongly favored. Ideal candidates will posses experience with outside sales and have a thorough understanding of a successful sales cycle.
