Our client is looking to hire a senior level Network Engineer to build, install and deploy Microsoft 2003 servers, perform site surveys, to develop and deploy storage solutions in a SAN environment. Must have worked in an enterprise environment, and have the ability document processes. Skilled in interpreting requirements and insuring that solutions meet those requirements. Reasonably fluent in enterprise network principles. Firewall, VPN, DB server upgrades and SAN implementations, solutions and adds. Specifically working with Windows 2003 servers on Dell, Unisys and HP platform, SAN (HP and EMC) and Storage library. designing, upgrading and implementing existing Perimeter Firewalls for Production Network, Upgrade core DB servers, add capacity to existing web farm, design and implement SAN for DB servers and DR backup solutions. design and implement solutions using Cisco PIX 525 failover, HP Proliant and Unisys RS7000 Windows 2003 Data Center/SQL2000 on EVA and EMC SAN which also included designing SAN fabric using Brocade/McData switches and STK tape library. Maintain, monitor and provide level 3 support for Corporate network Active Directory, Exchange, Great Plains, CRM and Backup to tape. Monitoring and responding to any alerts from Production servers or internal company servers and network devices during shift or while on call. Deploy new code to web servers as well as assist developers and QA as first level response to break fix. Implementation or support of VPN in place of existing PPTP endpoint for remote access to corp and prod network. Product recommendations and purchasing of technology products.


Required Skills:

Must have 4-5+ years experience with Windows desktop platforms, 2 years experience with Windows XP, and two years experience with networked storage (SAN, NAS, DAS). Must have strong experience with Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2000 Server in an enterprise environment. Must have SAN and NAS expertise: EMC is a huge plus. IIS 5.0 experience will be a plus. MCSE Windows 2000 will be a plus. Articulate and strong oral and written communications skills. Must be able to present issues to managers and interact within groups.
