Senior Account Manager (SAM)

The Senior Account Manager for the Medication Services Group (MSG) is accountable for driving new and incremental base business sales, stabilizing the existing base business and establishing strategic relationships across key areas of the business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Consultatively sell and market the MSG Point ? of ? Care Medication and Automation solution to small and median size physicians groups. Additionally, the SAM will fully support the Area Vice Presidents selling/closing efforts.

2. For all new customers, the SAM, working in concert with the Area Vice President and the Sales Analyst, is responsible for building a sales account/utilization plan which will include monthly increased customer contact, product implementation and in servicing, and monthly utilization goals. The SAM?s responsibility also includes ensuring that all team members understand the account plan and participate in monitoring progress towards achieving the stated objectives.

3. Working with data provided by the sales analyst, the SAM is responsible for stratifying the base business and identifying which customers represent up ? selling opportunities. Then implementing and executing a results oriented selling strategy.

4. In conjunction with the Customer Care Representative and marketing, develop, implement and execute on - going customer retention programs to stop the churn and stabilize the base business.
