Sr. Systems Analyst -Clinical

The Sr. Systems Analyst-Clinical  performs a variety of technical work associated with analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate office functions or to improve existing information technology related systems. The Sr. Systems Analyst-Clinical will assist the Database Analyst with installation of software, and provide initial support. In addition, this position will provide ongoing technical support and guidance to new and existing clients; performs various marketing activities to support the sales process; and performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required: 

1. Considerable knowledge of major systems development and implementation

2. Skill in project management and control; skill in operating the listed tools and equipment.

3. Ability to troubleshoot assigned programs;

4. ability to meet project deadlines;

5. ability to train and supervise assigned subordinate personnel;

6. ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;

7. ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, peers, supervisors,  vendors and contractors;

8. ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and in making decisions;

9. ability to follow or give verbal and written instructions as applicable.

 

Preferred:

1. Knowledge of McKesson Patient Access Software

2. Knowledge of Clinitec NextGen application

3. Experience in report writing Crystal

4. Familiar with Access and SQL databases
