Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer in our Durham, North Carolina office or nationwide.


This position works closely with company customers and project team members to implement solutions that include installation and configuration of products consistent with system architecture, requirements analysis, integration, test and transition into production.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

? Scopes hardware requirements and network infrastructure process modeling.

? Serves as technical reference point aiding internal and external customers with define or refine hardware & software requirements.

? Assists customers with Database related issues

? Implements and tests applications and/or application interfaces.

? Delivers revenue opportunities related to Database Services offerings.

? Advises Managers on database concepts and functional capabilities.

? Administers system activities such as performance tuning, data management, troubleshooting.

? Prepares periodic reports regarding activities and goals attainment.

 

Requirements:

 

? Requires 6 to 18 months recent I.T. experience in the Healthcare industry or equivalent.

? Must have excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills. 

? Must have minimum three years of proven advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities.

? Must have ability to use computer diagnostic hardware, proven knowledge of MS Windows, UNIX/Linux, Pervasive, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Citrix, DOS

? Must have general knowledge of database administration, programming and systems analysis procedures.

?  Must have general knowledge of database software and operating systems.
