MAJOR FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

Administration of projects related to medical marketing and claims and the approval process for North American lenses, and lens care business units. Management of clinical trial logistics and acquisition of clinical trial supplies. Management of clinical trial payments. Ensure the efficient handling, tracking and trending of phase IV clinical trials including all phases from project inception to final publication, dissemination of medical information to customers, sales, marketing, regulatory and clinical trials groups, while complying with Good Clinical Practices, SOP's, FDA and FTC regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Required Education: BA or BS

Minimum Required Experience: 4-5 years in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or legal environment.

Minimum Required Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent database and analytical skills. Able to handle complex/changing priorities and multiple projects.
Ability to perform complex literature searches using a variety of search tools.

Intermediate WORD, PowerPoint Advanced EXCEL, Advanced Lotus Notes Database

Preferred Level Education: : BA or BS in the sciences

Preferred Level Experience: 4-5 years in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or legal environment in an ophthalmic clinical/medical related role.

Preferred Level Knowledge/Skills:
Experience with all phases of administrating clinical trials. Previous work with clinical research organizations.

Ability to read ophthalmic prescription and records

CRF Design software
Basic SAS and/or Statistica
Intermediate ACCESS
Advanced WORD, PowerPoint, EXCEL

Intermediate application of operational requirements of clinical trials.
