Certified Surgical Technician

 

 

TLCVision is a premier eye surgery services company and one of the world's largest providers of laser vision correction procedures. At TLC, everyone is working toward the common goal of enabling people to see better than they ever have, without contacts or glasses. We have the following opportunity within the MSS Division in the Central Michigan location.

 

This position will be responsible for working closely with the surgeon performing corrective refractive surgeries in a scrub capacity with various microkertomes and instruments consistent with the procedure.  Also responsible for maintaining all company assets in good working order.  This position may also require driving a commercial vehicle containing a refractive laser and other related equipment to customer sites. Salary range: 35k - 40k.

 

All qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with a certification in Surgical Technology and at least 2 years experience in ophthalmology or the OR.  Candidates must have experience in customer service and be able to communicate effectively in a high stress environment.  This position requires frequent travel and weekend travel.
