Optician (Will train!)

We are in search of a flexible individual who is willing to work with a variety of patients. This is a position that offers long-term growth and plenty of opportunities to learn about the optical industry.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 
Assisting patients with choosing frames and lenses
Entering orders into an internal system
Assisting with contact lens trainings
Answering phones
Using various equipment to obtain patients’ optical measurements
Repairing glasses
Determining patient eyewear needs



Previous experience working in retail sales is required for this role. An optician’s license in Ohio is preferable but not required. Prior experience in the optical field is preferred. MS Office proficiency is a must. Attendance in optical school is a plus. Candidates should possess great interpersonal skills.
