Retail Sales / Dispensing Optician - Qualifications and Responsibilities

Strong sales and customer service skills

Knowledge, experience and previous Optical training preferred

Ability to interpret Doctor?s prescriptions and make recommendations of proper lens(es) and frames

Basic knowledge of contact lenses

Technical knowledge to adjust customer?s eyewear and make small basic repairs

Inspect and dispense eyewear

Basic Computer Skills

Provide great customer service while achieving goals

Lab experience a plus, but not a necessity

Teamwork emphasized

Strong communication skills important

Ability to be professional and still have fun
