AVP, Clinical Design and Development, ServicesPosition Description

Leads the teams designing and developing all new disease management and triage service offerings, as well as, updating and revising existing offerings. Contributes to Product Management on proposals for new business and renewals for existing businesses, and with operations and technology development for the successful development and implementation for new offerings or revisions for existing offerings. Collaborates with other MHS clinical design and development leaders to leverage existing assets, streamline clinical development processes, improve quality, enhance productivity and improve time to market.

Key Responsibilities:

?Define the high level requirements for new design and development work based on the business needs and attributes supplied by Product Management. This includes clinical as well as technical, systems integration, reporting, and data management requirements.
?Supervise the definition of detailed clinical, technical, reporting and data management requirements by the Product Design and Development team.
?Provide design and development teams for actionable plans, role responsibilities, project deliverables with associated target dates, and measurement methods for performance evaluation.
?Facilitate and develop a design and development work environment/culture that promotes trust, innovation, individual/team empowerment, and success while holding true to the iCARE principles.
?Evaluate, plan and manage resources as it pertains to design and development activities for the services business.
?Assure cross-departmental collaboration with, as well as feedback and design validation from Product Management, Operations, Technical Development, Informatics, and Accounts Management.
?Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and skill development/knowledge transfer to ensure forward progress if resources change.
?Identify and fill next level leadership roles to facilitate building effective, balanced, motivated, and innovative clinical and business requirements development teamsMinimum Requirements

Business Experience ?
?Management experience (7+ years).
?Managing teams experience (5+ years)
?Design and development experience for disease or care management programs (3+ years)
?Clinical to technical liaison experience (3+ years)
?Care management experience - payor or provider (3+ years).
?Triage experience (preferred)Education

Education/Training ?
?Registered Nurse (minimum), Medical Doctor (preferred)Physical Requirements
