Immediate Opening: Activities Assistant
 
Job Type: Full Time
 
Location: Town Village Arlington, TX

The successful candidate for Activities Assistant brings to the position character values such as integrity, trust, and honesty that are necessary for the team?s solid foundation and growth. The Activities Assistant is responsible for planning and implementing community activities to enhance the well being of our residences. There are many challenges, personal rewards, and shared joy in providing creative, fun and professional activities related to physical, social, recreational, intellectual / educational, creative, entertainment, religious, service / volunteering and special requests of the residents. Other job functions for this important position include:
 
* Lead the daily Memory Enhancement Program activities
* Reports any significant changes in residents to the Wellness Nurse or designated charge person
* Report unusual conditions, observations, and pertinent information to the designated charge person
* Records resident attendance/participation sheet daily
* Complies with all documentation policies/procedures 
* Reads and/or documents in the staff communication log daily
* Escorts or directs residents to the dining room
* Assist Marketing with potential new residents as needed




We seek the following qualifications:
 
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience or interest in leisure activities
* Experience with senior population
