Actuary
This position will play a key role in the actuarial support of McKesson?s Disease Management (DM) contracts that are assumed on a risk basis. The Actuary will manage data processes and integrity related to health claims data.

Key Responsibilities
*Conduct quarterly and annual risk reconciliations
*Performs ROI analyses and accumulation
*Develops and improves upon clinically actionable reporting
*Conduct ad hoc analyses and research
*Recommends process improvements
*Identify and proactively resolve data issues
*Present results to business leaders via high-level tables, text, and/or presentations
*Manage projects and influence strategic thinking
*Continue actuarial and professional developmentMinimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements Minimum Job Qualifications Education/Training
*Associate of the Society of Actuaries required
* Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related area preferred
Business Experience
* 5+ years health care consulting or health plan experience working with health claims dataAdditional Knowledge & Skills

Specialized Skills/Knowledge
Excellent project management skills including attention to detail, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines

Excellent communication skills

Excellent time management skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, strong with Excel, good with Access, etc.) and good with SAS
