Ass't Director of Clinical Operations

Responsible for oversight of clinical operations in managed behavioral healthcare organization including, but not limited to, planning and development, programmatic policies and procedures, treatment protocols, clinical documentation, account utilization analysis, and adherence to licensing standards, state and federal regulations; leads in development of shared philosophy, treatment model, and operations protocols.? Maintains partnerships, linkages, and program collaborations with provider and employer groups as well as health plan account executives.

Oversees recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, promotion, and termination of all clinical staff.? Supervises clinical management and develops/maintains an organizational system that promotes staff's professional development and provides adequate supervision and support.? Shares in fulfilling critical responsibilities of Director of Clinical Operations.

Requires degreed behavioral healthcare professional with LCSW, LPC, or RN licensure with minimum of 5 years managed health care experience in utilization review and management.? Minimum of two years supervisory experience in managed behavioral healthcare utilization review.

Provides consultative oversight of complicated behavioral health case review processes and must have thorough functional knowledge of DSM-IV TR diagnosis.? Functional knowledge of best practice standards applicable to diagnosis with ability to translate into practical application in outpatient and milieu treatment settings.
