Associate Director, Programs and Services

St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California, voted "Best Place to Work in Orange County" by the readers of the Orange County Register has an immediate opening for an Associate Director, Programs and Services at their Orange Caregiver Resource Center.

 

Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the Director this position provides clinical oversight to OCRC direct service staff and administrative coordination of programs and services. This position is responsible for the coordination of delivery systems and oversight of intake, case assignment and triage, assessment, reassessment, counseling, family consultations, ethnic outreach, educational programs, psycho-education groups, support groups, respite retreats, and other services for caregivers and their families. The AD-PS provides support and direction to direct service staff, interns, volunteers and the community regarding the service needs of family caregivers. The AD-PS is responsible for quality assurance and risk management of all direct services.

 

Minimum Position Qualifications:Education: Master?s degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work approved by the Council for Social Work Education or Master?s degree in Counseling or related field.Experience: Two years post-Masters experience working in a clinical, case management or mental health setting two of which has been spent serving older adults or persons with disabilities preferred.At least three years of supervisory or management experience.Proven abilities in sound clinical judgment.License / Certification:California driver?s license and own transportation with insurance.

 

Preferred Position Qualifications:Current LCSW or LMFT licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners preferred.At least one year in a non-profit setting desirable.Asian or Spanish language and cultural skills desirable.
