JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the department in achieving sales objectives through service and sales support for all LOBs; Responds to complex inquiries from internal and external customers regarding sales issues and resolves customer and broker issues through research and investigation with internal departments.  Participates and assists in the development of sales or renewal strategies and interacts with brokers for quotes and proposals: prepares and submits timely reports on sales activity by maintaining current and accurate records through database maintenance. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administratively supports the department with preparation of RFPs and Sales Proposals.  This includes technical support utilizing all Sales IT systems, calendar meetings, open enrollments and other administrative tasks for the departmentActs as internal broker interface in absence of AE’s and Account ManagerAssists the department with PresentationsMaintains Marketing and Department Inventory



REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:



Bachelors degree in Marketing and Sales, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience. 

 

Certification/License:

Certification/License: DOI Life License required

 

Experience: Experience: 2 years in customer service or sales experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and presentation skills including fluent speaking, writing, and presenting skills in Spanish and English Good knowledge of managed care sales and general underwriting principles, Basic PC knowledge/Skills.Strong written and verbal skills are required. Individual must possess the ability to collaborate with others and work effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated responsibility for delivering excellent customer service.
