Business Development Apprentice - We are an established, healthcare research company with operations all over the country.  Our Tarpon Springs office seeks a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, with a desire to build a successful career in the healthcare industry.  If you've finished college and have strong ambition but are wondering where to get your start, you should consider coming to work with us.

 

We hire just one Business Development Apprentice a year, usually straight out of college.  We will pair you directly with our Business Development Manager, who has more than 15 years' experience in healthcare sales and project management.We will expose you to the healthcare industry and provide you with a unique opportunity to learn while you work.The work is challenging and the rewards go far beyond a salary. 

 

We will give you a lot of responsibility and provide one-on-one mentoring throughout your apprenticeship.  You will spend your time: (1) identifying qualified prospects; (2) setting up appointments via conference call, web meeting, and on-site presentations; (3) compiling, assessing, and reporting competitive intelligence in the marketplace; (4) supporting the growth of our Company by staying involved with the business development process and by providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:



1.  BA degree in business or related field.

2.  Strong communication skills (oral and written).

3.  Computer proficiency:  Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.  ACT and/or Web Ex skills are desirable.

4.  Demonstrated customer service abilities.

5.  Ability to promote cooperation and team work among staff, peers, superiors and customers.

6.  Ability to work independently.
